Baduizm-Erykah Badu

The 1997 debut lp from Ms.Badu is one of the most thought provoking and free spirited albums ever. Traditional african congo drums to modern day drum patterns, the beats hold you tight as the lyrical content soothes your soul. Doesn't matter your race, creed, or color this album transceds race lines. Her passion for her music oozes through your speakers. Be prepared to be taken on a nice, slow, and smooth ride with Ms.Badu. There has never been an artist like E.Badu nor has anyone come close to creating a sound like hers.

Her dropping this lp was around the time of Maxwell and D'Angelo as well, that 95-97 era. If you don't have this album go and buy it.

This album 10/10 From front to back you can play it without skipping one song. Even though this cd is over a decade old the content makes it still relevant. One content of a perfect 10 album is to have a emphemeral record.

You can play this record anytime. ANYTIME!! I would even play some tracks at a party, yeah I said it.My favorite tracks are No Love, Sometimes, Certainly, and of course On & On
