No diamond rings, expensive cars , or dancing rings. It is a must see, I do not want to spoil it you have to see it. It’s set in a more modern setting were free speech is not allowed, Lupe voices his opinion and is immediately seized by the police. It reminds me of how 1984, the book by George Orwell would be. Sanaa Hamri is the director of the video, for those who do not know she is an Arabic Woman.

Spirit of the panther is the biography of Black Panther founder Huey P. Newton. Even though his life had a tragic end his life has a long lasting effect on not only black society but America. I don’t agree with a lot of the methods he used but I love what he stood for and accomplished.

The Book Assata is an autobiography of Assata Shakur and it makes our lives seem meager in comparison. Very well written and the details and images it puts in your head is very vivid, you can see the story unfold as if she is sitting down and telling you the story.
