From the time we are young we are told go to school, make good grades, go to college, graduate, go find a job, go buy a new car, go buy a house, go get married, have 2.5 kids, and a dog. That is what a our parents us and what their parents told them and so forth for about 1 or 2 generations. The end result of following that methodology is a overwhelming debt, that you could possibly even pass on to your kids.
I’m not saying do not go to college and live the “American Dream” but understand that system is outdated and will leave you a slave to the financial institution. Make your own dream.
In addition to working hard , you have to also work smart. You can’t fall into the same trap of trying to keep up with everyone else. Stay in your lane and find your niche and uses it.
People at Harvard and Yale are groomed not go and work for someone but to create their own opportunity. Start building a foundation early to that you already have opportunities lined up.
