ARTIST OF THE WEEK THICKER THAN WATER

On Friday at the CalaBar & Grill In Stone Mountain , I had the extreme pleasure of one reconnecting with old friends from high school and two being introduced to their band, Thicker Than Water. You are going to hear me say this frequently but these guys were exceptional.

Blacks in Baseball

Baseball the highest paid sport in America is becoming scrutinized for not having many U.S born black players. Opening day the percentage of black players was 8.2%, down 2% from last year. The commissioner Bud Seilng plans to address this issue.

"Create the world in which you want to live"

So many people hate the job/career that they are vested in. Sometimes out of necessity such as family, people work 9 to 5's that they can't stand, but why? I know life is not always about doing exactly what you want at all times, but why not try and turn something that you are passionate about into what you love.

STOP TRASHING YOUR OWN NEIGHBORHOOD

Real short and to the point stop littering in your own neighborhood it's pointless, destructive, and is just a plain bad habit. Everywhere you go has a trash can or a place were you can throw away garbage so why throw it out of your moving car on your way to your house were you know there is at least one trash can. People kill me when they say "I don't want trash in my car" how stupid can you be? You don't want trash in your car but you want to trash were you live. Stop trashing your neighborhood!

The Weekend: House Of Ballons Mixtape review.

Another good friend of mine(mr.gunn) put me on this R&B act called The Weekend. Smooth melodic almost hypnotizing beats and a distinctive voice this act sets itself apart.

Elzhi- Elmatic Review(1st 10/10 rating)

Man I love creativity and innovation. Elzhi combines both in his new mixtape Elmatic. He takes Nas’s Illmatic and puts his own lyrics on the classic LP. First if you never heard the Nas album Illmatic go back and listen to fully appreciate this mixtape.
