Big K.R.I.T Return of 4eva

Big K.R.I.T Return of 4eva

Big K.R.I.T’s return of 4eva is a highly anticipated mixtape from the winner of the best mixtape of the year award 2010 from djbooth.net. The sound is so southern. He reminds you of many down south legends. One thing his songs never lack is soul, he got it by the pound. Hard thumping bass, driving snares, and hard hats are a reaccurring theme. In a time were the south is becoming synonymous with pop like dance track and harmonized rapping, Big K.R.I.T is a welcomed change of pace. 21 tracks! A 21 tracked mixtape and these songs are well thought out, not just some left over cuts that didn’t make the album.

You can listen to this on a long drive, when you want something that will make you reflect, or when you are cleaning.

The art work on the cover reminds me of an old Outkast cover. Like the creativity

8.5/10. I got a short attention span 21 songs is kind of long sometimes, and sookie?Just wasn't feeling that hook

  1. Its hard to find artist that make their own music, write their own lyrics, and still manage to do so with a top notch sound. KRIT is one of the only artist that i can listen to without "skippin to the next track".

  2. yeah that is the one man band personfied. I think that is important that an artist still has a hustle about him.
