The Casey Anthony verdict has been on every single news channel the last couple of days. Everyone I knew expected her to be found guilty. She was charged with Casey first degree murder and. Prosecution sought the death penalty on July 5, 2011, the jury found Casey Anthony not guilty of murder, aggravated child abuse, and aggravated manslaughter of a child, but guilty of four misdemeanor counts of providing false information to a law enforcement officer. Anthony received a sentence of one year in jail and a $1,000 fine for each count.
Watching some of the case and not knowing all the facts I can’t make heads or tails of the situation, but it just seems wrong. If she wasn’t guilty than okay, but she stands to make a fortune off of this, at the bare minimum she stands to gain at least a best selling tell all and a Lifetime movie.
To just through this in the mix the media is playing a big part in this. Those photos and home videos that they show, do you think someone just gave them the footage? No, ABC paid $200,000 for it. The new O.J? Maybe in the end she will get thrown in jail for stealing her on things at gun point.
