Super producer David Banner has teamed up another super producer 9th wonder to create a silent classic, Death Of A Pop Star. The premise of this album was to be outside the norm and bring something to the table other than talking about drugs, sex, and money.
It is 10 tracks on the LP and you can really listen to the whole cd front to back. I like the fact that I could play this around younger and older people and they would listen, the N word is not present on this album, it is edited out.
My favorite tracks on here were Strange, Something Is Wrong, The Light, and The Silly featuring Erykah Badu
I give this album 9 out of 10, reason being it was short, only ten tracks, but it made me want more so it worked from a marketing standpoint, the content is thick and it will make you pay attention
