David(Florida Couple) Vs. Goliath(Bank Of America)

Warren and Maureen Nyerges bought a home in Florida in 2009, you know purchasing their piece of the American Dream. The bought the home for $165,000 in cash. The funny thing about that is they received a notice of foreclose.

Bank Of America filed a claim even though they have never had a mortgage. They were told to get a lawyer, after looking for one, they finally got help from a attorney Todd Allen, who has been an attorney for only 8 months. They won, they were ordered to pay $2,534, the bank never did. The thought of someone suing a bank and wining makes me happy, but it only gets better.

The Nyerges , the attorney, two sheriff’s and a moving company went down to a local Bank Of America branch to take everything that was not nailed down to settle the debt. An hour later the bank wrote a check for $5,772.88.

This is not the first time Bank Of America has wrongfully foreclosed on someone’s home. They did it to a guy named Jason Grodensky, unfortunately for him the judge ordered the property to be sold. Bank of America eventually took responsibility.

Random tad bit the bank officials spelled his name wrong in media statements and he still banks with Bank of America.
