Animal Farm by George Orwell

Another book by world reckoned author George Orwell, Animal Farm is a classic. The book is set on a farm as you may have guessed and deals with animals being tired of being used and mistreated. One day the Pigs(The smartest of the animals) orchestrated a plan to get rid of their master. They succeeded and began to run the farm on their own. In the beginning it was smooth sailing, but with absolute power comes absolutist corruption so of course the pigs get greedy and cunning and plot on making the other animals work and the pigs enjoy the riches. The farmer does return with a small local militia and tries to take back his farm. Doesn’t work. It’s more intricate than just animals on a farm, if it’s George Orwell it’s usually a political socioeconomic issue of some sort.

It is a great read and will keep your interest, very witty and at times comical, it receives a 9 out of 10.
