For those of you who can’t just get enough Tyler Perry, he is slatted to come out with yet another television show, based off his movie, that is based off his plays. In case you missed all the bad acting, drama, and obnoxious yelling black lady from Why Did I Get Married , brace yourself because it’s becoming a show.
I'm not a big fan of Tyler Perry’s works, they are more like Minstrel shows to me. Mr. Brown looks like a character dressed in blackface and it’s doesn’t help that he tends to do servant type roles. House of Payne should switch it’s name to house of bad acting with a characters name who should be Rufus I literally could go one forever about it, but I wont take the Spike Lee approach(which I thought was great).
I like the fact that Tyler Perry employs so many blacks in the Atlanta area and he does do good in the local community, like rebuilding this ladies house after it got burned down to the ground, but he still makes horrible and predictable films. I swear all of them are named Madeas something. I think he should elevate his works he has the black Christian woman market pretty much to himself, but he needs to make movies with deeper messages, the world is so much bigger than Madeas or Mr. Browns backyard.
